You can add conditions to the rule that sorts into subfolders so that it only kicks in in certain conditions. For instance, you can use Subfolder Level.

Oh ok. Another layer of granularity I didn't know about. Excellent to know. I'll try it out. May have to wait a bit. Just started a fortnight's holiday away from home.
