Renaming using elements from file name

I want to rename a jpeg that is downloaded with a filename in this pattern:

Page 3 of The Grinnell Herald,published in Grinnell, Iowa on Tuesday, May 17th, 1904.jpeg

The desired result would be:

IA-GrinnellHerald_1904-05-17_p-3.jpeg

I searched the forum and couldn't find this particular set of issues. I've been away from Hazel for several years, so I'm really struggling. I would prefer a rule or sequence of rules that would work on files clipped from different newspapers, without the need to create a duplicate set of rules for each unique newspaper title or location.

Any guidance would be appreciated.

Look up "match patterns" in the help. Using those, you can set up custom attributes to save the parts of the name you want.
