On the Understanding the Logic of Rules page of the User Guide, it says:

Only the first matching rule runs on any given file or folder.

I’ve just spent months debugging a multi-step set of rules only to find that (apparently) two different rules were matching and only the first one fired.

Is there any way for Hazel to tell me that one or more rules matched?

Use the Rule Status feature.
