Hazel on Mountain Lion

In one of the support threads you mention that Hazel cannot be sandboxed, and so will never be available through the Mac App Store.

It seems that Apple is making sandboxing much more important (required?) on 10.8. Will Hazel still run on 10.8?

I am running hazel on 10.8, other than a bug with scripts not working for me, it works fine

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Gatekeeper allows signed apps (non-MAS, non-sandboxed) to run by default.

Also, note that 10.8 compatibility will happen over time but it's not the highest priority at the moment to get it working with early betas.

I should have just asked the simpler question, "Will Hazel be supported on 10.8?"

I don't care about betas. I want to know if I buy Hazel today will it still be supported on the released 10.8? I don't want to pay $25 for functionality that I will lose in a few months.

I think you can assume for any product that is still actively developed that it will support the latest OS release. I would find it very odd if anyone decided they wouldn't.

Now, if the product has lapsed into an unsupported state, I can see one posing the question but seeing as I just released a major revision, I think it's safe to say I will be supporting new os releases.
