Date recognition, month is text, different language

I get files with names that contain a date like "...30August2022..." and would like to rename them to something like "...2022-08-30...". The month is in text (abbreviated or not), but in a language different from English AND different from the system setting (which is English).

I there any way to use Hazel's built in date recognition? If not, any suggestions how to accomplish that?

Thanks

Stefan

Yes, you can set up a custom date attribute to match the date. You'll need to add all languages to your system language settings for Hazel to consider them.

This worked for me. One follow-up question: is it possible to keep the resulting month in the foreign language? At the moment I helped myself by replacing the local names with the foreign ones but that's rather tedious.

Not at the moment. Interesting request though. I'll have to think about that one.
