Copy files from folders with a specific name? Thu Jul 07, 2022 11:18 am • by sbh
Hi,

Is it possible to make a condition that finds "all images in any folder that is named "Output""?

I couldn't find out how to create such a rule. Perhaps someone could give me a hand...

As a photographer I have several shooting sessions in my "Images" folder.

Every session contains a folder called "Output" which contains the final images to use.

Images / Sesssion 1 / Output / Image1.jpg

Now I want a copy from the images in all of the Output folders in one single folder.

Thanks
S.

Look up subfolders in the manual. There's a whole chapter there dedicated to getting Hazel to go into subfolders. You can modify the rule there to only go into folders named "output".
