Can Hazel be used to filter Junk mail in Apple Mail???

I get dozens of junk meals each day within an Apple mail. The junk filter built into the program doesn't really do an adequate job of parsing junk mail received. Can hazel be used to see incoming mail and using rules parse out junk mail so that it is removed from the inbox and placed into junk mail? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

First off, please do not post questions in the Tips & Tricks forum. It has clear instructions not to do that.

Hazel works with files on your filesystem. Apple Mail has it's own internal storage and would not recommend having Hazel interfere with that. I would look into products specifically designed for this, like SpamSieve.

Apologies for the errant post. I will pay closer to the rules next time. Thank you for the reply however this does help.
