The rule format is not public. Can you describe why you need to generate these in such a manner?

Hi Mr. Noodle!
Sorry for replying late, but I was out of office the last days.
We run a system, where users can register. During the Registration process some data is collected, that we use to process documents that are provided in pdf format by the user. If we could create rules from this data entries, we could use Hazel to help in document processing. Thus it would be very helpful if we could create rules for Hazel automaticly during the Registration process und upload them into the system.
I think (if I'm not mistaken) in an older Version of Hazel, exported rules looked like a xml-file.
Best regards
Rainer

There was never an xml format. Can you give me more details on the types of rules you are creating? Depending, you may be able to do it with a single rule.

It would be
a) searching for content according to the Registration data and renaming the file in multiple steps like "street Adress" - "Resident name" - "customer-no" - doctype (like "invoice")
b) copying and / or shifting into different folders
c) triggering emails

Have you looked at the table functionality? It might do what you need.
