I've just discovered hazel and am trying to see if I can get it to work for me before the trial period ends (i.e I'd love to buy this if it can do what I need).

For now, my biggest issue is syncing a shared dropbox folder with my own onedrive folder. I have been able to set up a rule so that any new folders in the shared dropbox folder sync over to my onedrive folder. But I'd also like to ensure that any files, subfolders etc that are changed in my specific onedrive folder are automatically copied/synced over to the shared dropbox and vice versa. Is that something that could reasonably be done. And if so, how should I go about it?

Hazel is not really meant for two-way syncing. I'd suggest using a tool specifically set up for that as it can deal with things like conflicts and such.
