Hello,

in the help, I found how to sync a folder files here
https://www.noodlesoft.com/manual/hazel ... g-folders/

please note that my folder contains RTF/RTFD files.

Is there any way to include file versioning (like dropbox does), ie if the file has been modified later than the match it is synced, the destination folder will keep the original version and add a newer version (perhaps appending a date/time suffix to the filename.

thanks in advance for your time and help

It depends. How do you want it to work if a file is deleted?

thank you for your reply.
If a file is deleted, do nothing. Just leave the last sync in the destination folder intact even if the file in the original folder no longer exists. I don't want to delete that file in the destination folder.

In that case, don't use the Sync rule. Instead you should create a rule to move files. You can either Rename the file yourself beforehand or use the Move option to rename the file with a number. Also, use the option to copy over the folder structure. In addition to that, you will need a separate rule to tell Hazel to go into subfolders so it can get to those files. Check the manual on subfolders as there's a chapter on it there.
