I want to synchronize by excluding certain folders

I synced the folders by following 'Syncing Folders' in the Hazel User Guide.
https://www.noodlesoft.com/manual/hazel ... g-folders/
However, I want to synchronize by excluding certain folders as shown in the figure below.

It's hard for me to edit the rules for that. Please help.

You can't really do that using the rule from that chapter. Questions:

- Do you have sync items being removed in Synced Folder directly (not within subfolders)?
- How are you determining which folders to sync?

I'm not sure if I understand this question well, but there are only folders in Synced Folder. So there are no removed files(such as Document, Image ) in Synced Folder. I want to sync only some of the folders in Synced Folder. I also thought of deleting the folders to exclude from syncing after syncing all folders inside Synced Folder, but it's not neat. I would like to know if it is possible to specify which folders to exclude from syncing before syncing occurs.

- How are you determining which folders to sync?
The folder to sync is the folder containing the most recently modified files or folders. And the folder to be excluded from synchronization is determined by Name.

By the first question, I mean that are any of the folders ever removed and do you want that synced? If not, then try using the sync rule, but have Hazel monitor "Synced folder" and add conditions to match only the folders you want (or exclude those you don't).

I understood your answer as follows.
The sync rule cannot be excluded from synchronization by designating a folder that I do not want to synchronize. But instead of this, I can sync by specifying the folder I want to sync within "Synced folder".
these two methods are not the same. The former does not need to specify to synchronize the newly created folder within the "Synced folder". However, the latter has the problem of having to add a rule to synchronize newly created folders every time a new folder is created.

Not sure if I comprehend that but in an attempt to clarify:

- Have Hazel monitor Synced Folder, not Monitored Folder.
- In your sync rule
- Have it sync to Synced Folder, not Destination Folder
- For your rule to sync folders, add a condition to filter out which ones to sync.

The caveat here, which is why I asked my question, is that if any of the folders (like A or D) are removed, they will remain at the destination.
