Sync new Files on Folders/Subfolders Tue Jan 04, 2022 11:18 am • by chris610
I am currently facing a task where I do not really know how to approach it.
The goal is to copy new documents from the following structure A "docs/CustomerA/ID 123456789/Quotes/Quote1.pdf" into another structure B. In structure B the ID of the folder on the second level is also included (example "123456789 - test project"). Now new documents from Quotes should be copied from A to B into the Quotes subfolder or accordingly with other subfolders (order, contract, etc.).

The rule should be active for all customer folders. Is there any way to implement this with Hazel?

It's not clear to me: you are trying to mirror one folder to another or is there a difference in the folder structure. If the former, then check the manual for syncing folders. There's a chapter/rule there on how to do that.
