Hello,

I am trying to understand how the interaction of shortcuts with Hazel works.
But I can't get anything...

Could you give an example of how a working shortcuts works.
Like converting a pdf selected by hazel rule?
It would help me a lot, because I get PDFs that are not readable in hazel (even passing them through ocr), so if I convert them to image and after pdf and OCR them, I could find the text of the pdf.

Thank you.

Can you post a screenshot of the Shortcut as you have it now?

I was able to do what I wanted to do in the end.
I have trouble understanding how to formulate the apple shortcut.
If I understood correctly, you can't recover the file from the shortcut.

So to convert a pdf to an image, I did the following:
Hazel:
Run the script with the arguments I want to find the file.

In shortcuts :
(my concern was how Hazel transmits the document).
So entered PDF from nowhere and convert to save the image in the same place.
