Hi there,

I'm very new to Hazel, and am using the trial version to make sure that I like it.

I've created a very simple Rule in the monitored Desktop folder. The Rule should

Code: Select all

Set Color label Red

if any;
Date Added is not in the last 4 weeks
Date Last Modified is not in the last 4 weeks
Date Last Opened is not in the last 4 weeks

The rule is working, but only on the various Folders in Desktop, and not the actual documents found in Desktop.

I've added

Code: Select all

Run Rules on folder contents

but that's not helping.

I have tons of documents that meet the above criterion, so I'm surprised to see that it's not working.

What am I missing or doing wrong?

Also, I wouldn't use the "Run rules on folder contents" action unless you actually know what it does.
