Hi all

Absolute newbie here so please excuse my possibly stupid questions that I may ask...

First one - I have tried my first rule for files in an existing folder, set the rule to rename them:
date created_name_extension

But the result was that the date created appeared 14 times!

What have I done wrong??

You may need to add a condition to filter out the results of this rule, otherwise you will create a loop. You can tag the file to indicate you already renamed it and filter it out in the conditions. Or, you can create a condition to pattern match the new file name.
