I have some file names I am trying to match. An example of the file name is
IMG_20180531_0001 (1).jepg I really just want to match any file name which has (1) in it.
I have tried a number of combinations like
ab12%? %?@
ab12a1%(

but no joy I must be close but no cigar ?

Your patterns are incomplete. You need to match all the text in the name, including the (1) part.

Thanks in the end I used "Ends with" (1) and that works well
