I'm evaluating Hazel and wondering if it possible to have it make a daily zipped backup of changed or new files in a folder. It might be similar to syncing, but I just want the changes to be copied to another folder and zipped.

I currently have rsync setup to sync the folder and make date/time stamped backups of changes and like this behavior.

You'll probably need to create a rule to copy the changed files to another folder, then have a rule there which will zip them up. The problem is knowing when you are done copying files over. If it's on a daily basis, you can maybe schedule it using the "Current time" attribute.
