Venmo Statements | Date Stamp Fri Apr 16, 2021 2:59 am • by hanguolaohu
Monthly statements from Venmo are CSV only, no PDF. The generic file name is venmo_statement.csv. I would like Hazel to automatically rename the file with a date stamp as "YYYY-MM-statement-venmo.csv" Here's the problem, even though I download a March statement, the date range listed on the top is from 02/28-04/01. There is a column entitled "Datetime" listing in the format "2021-03-25T23:28:44". Any suggestions? Thank you!

You can try matching against the last date, then in the Rename pattern, when you add that date attribute, you can adjust the date by subtracting a month.

Thanks for the tip @Mr_Noodle! Took me some tweaking but got it to work finally! Here's the note I wrote to myself:
To subtract a month for the date, on “Rename with pattern” > control click “Smart Date Match” > Adjust Date > -1 months
