V3.0 - Unzip zipped DMG and move DMG to folder

I've just tried to setup a rule as follows:

If Full Name ends with .dmg.zip

Unarchive

Move to folder "DMGs"

However, it doesn't work. A Growl message says it couldn't unarchive the zip, and the Console gets updated every second with:

2012-03-01 23:21:10.488 hazelworker[11705] gruml.dmg.zip: Rule Zipped DMG matched.
2012-03-01 23:21:11.158 hazelworker[11705] Unsupported archive type: 6
2012-03-01 23:21:11.159 hazelworker[11705] [Error] Unarchive failed: Failed to unpack archive for /Volumes/Stuff/Downloads/gruml.dmg.zip.

for every .zipped DMG file in my Downloads folder.

If I try to use the system unarchiver by just opening file zipped DMG, Hazel moves the file before it's finished unzipping it. The files unzip just fine if double-clicked in the Finder.

What am I doing wrong?

So, I guess this Support forum isn't the place to come for Support then?

Should I just email the developer direct?

It might be the extension '.dmg.zip'. Hazel reads this as an archive type like 'tar.gz'. As we all know it isn't and so you get the error 'Unsupported archive type'.

If it's urgent always use email. There are links in the app and the website to contact me.

Hazel cannot unpack dmgs at the moment. I'll look into fixing it so the operation doesn't fail if it's in a series (it will unpack as far as possible) but it will probably still be set to fail if you send in a bare dmg.

Thanks.

I don't want it to unpack the DMG, just to un-zip the zip containing the DMG and then move the DMG into another folder.

v3.0.1 fixes this issue for ".dmg.zip" but not for ".dmg.rar" files.

Works for me here. What kind of problem are you seeing?

False alarm - it appears one of the .rar files is password protected.

Is there anyway to get it to skip password protected archives, as it repeatedly (every second) adds an error to the Hazel.log until the Rules are paused, or that specific rule is deleted?

My Hazel.log is already a couple of megabytes in size, from just the past few hours!

Thanks.

I'll have to check but it may not be able to find out until it tries.

Also, if there's an error, the gap between them should get larger so it's not logging errors constantly.
