Hi,

I've looked this up on the web and there doesn't appear to be any recent updates on this. I'm wondering if it's possible to have Hazel automatically convert a file to PDF when it appears in a folder - examples I've found don't appear reliable if Word is open. For me it'll be predominantly MS Word files.

Hazel doesn't have a built-in action for this. You probably need to use Automator or AppleScript to do that phase of the workflow.
