Action: Change folder icon

This was touched on just a little bit on an earlier post, but with no resolve. I'm curious if anyone is familiar with a trigger action that involves changing a folder icon to something predefined.

A relatively quick web search also yielded little to no results (that aren't 3rd party). Would something like AppleScript be able to achieve this?

It might be possible with AppleScript. You could try googling it as if it's possible, I feel like someone would have come up with a script by now.
