Run rules only when a network folder is mount Mon Jan 11, 2021 7:22 am • by Defre29
Hello,

Is it possible to run a rules only when a network folder is mount ?

I would like to move some PDF files only when I’m connect to my work server ( local or with VPN). Can I do it with hazel ?
I don't want to sync folders but only add my files on a network folder

Sorry for my poor English, it's not my mother tongue.

Thanks for your help

Is the network mount the source or destination? In general, Hazel will run when possible. If the drive is unavailable, it will fail but re-try when the drive reappears.

Hello,

Thanks for your reply

The network mount is the destination.

I will try to do it whiteout specific rule to detect if the destination is mount or not.
