Starting Hazel 5 in "Stopped" mode

Hi Noodlesoft,

I recently upgraded to Hazel 5. I am unable to figure out how to have Hazel begin in "Stopped" mode. I do this because I use Hazel to move files around, and I only want Hazel to run when I tell it to. Since upgrading to Hazel 5, Hazel always begins in "on" mode, which is frustrating. Is there a way to start Hazel in the "Stopped" mode?

Also, I read that the launch agent for Hazel is now controlled by launchd due to certain Mac permission issues. While I understand that's the case, I strongly suggest including the option to remove it from launch. I've had to figure out how to remove it from the launchd list because it was always beginning in the "on" mode when my computer turned on and moved all my files around.

Thanks!

Cheers,
Xander

This should be fixed in the next release. Note that it will not remove it from launchd but it will respect its stopped status on startup.

I'm happy as long as it can begin in stopped mode! Thank you so much!

One other bug to note is that when Hazel is stopped and "Open Hazel" is selected from the menu, it turns it back to Start mode. This is different from Hazel 4, where I would have been able to "Open Hazel" and edit my scripts without Hazel activating.

I think that might be related to the same bug.
