help with building new hazel recipe Sun Jan 22, 2012 7:18 pm • by earleymw
So here's what I want to do: My work process involves saving my omnigraffle files with new file names every time I do a new iteration of them. For example, I complete an iteration, turn over to client. They provide feedback. I start next iteration. At this point I rename file. My filename structure is yyyy.mm.dd.hh.mm_filename. For example if I saved a set of wireframes today it would be 2012.01.22.18.18_mike's wireframes.graffle

Over time I end up with like 5 to 10 files in the folder. It would be nice to automatically move the previous file into an archive once I save a new one.

Help?

There's no way to do it as you described in the current version. In 3.0 (now in beta), you can specify something like "the 5 most recent" or whatever.

What you can do is just move them out by time. Like if the file is older than some period of time, archive it.
