Hazel 5 - Load to Music Issue

Hello,

Not sure if this is a bug or an incompatibility with an old rule.

I have a simple rule I've been using for years to load music files into iTunes/Music, put up a notification, and then move the file to the trash. After upgrading to v5, Hazel notifies an error. However, when looking in Music, the file has been imported.

I tried making a new rule that does the same thing and tested it with a few files - same result.

Log reports error.

Code: Select all: 2020-11-17 19:17:07.948 hazelworker[992] Error getting playlist : (null) 2020-11-17 19:17:07.948 hazelworker[992] [Error] iTunes import failed: Could not add file /Users/mwb/Move 2 iTunes/15 Béla Fleck & The Flecktones - That Old Thing.mp3 to iTunes.

Any suggestions on how to fix this?

What OS version are you on? Are you still using iTunes or Music?

Running Big Sur and the version of Music that it loads.

I just discovered that if I change the list it loads to from the "Main" list to one I created, it works. So perhaps the "Main" list needs to be referenced another way in Hazel now?

If I just want the music loaded into Music but not to a list what should the rule use in the "to playlist" option?

Can you export that rule and email it in to support?
