Continue matching rules - greyed out

So i have a folder (regular folder I created).
rule 1 - <2MB Trash
size | is less than | 2 MB
Date Added | is not in the last | 1 Minute
Do following:
Move to trash
Rule 2 -
name | contains | sample
Do following:
move to trash
Question:
In do the following. Why can't I add a second rule that says "continue matching rules"? It is greyed out.

Do you mean rule or action? Having "Continue" by itself in a rule doesn't make sense. If it's a 2nd action in one of the other rules, that should be allowable. If that is the case, please provide a screenshot.

Sorry meant action. Is my understanding of "continue" not correct? Specifically let the rules continue to match.

Ah, in this case, it's because you are moving the file. You can't have rules match a file after it's been moved out of the folder.

Clearly your were able to do that before or I wouldn't have continue matching rule. Also, you should be able to again because i'm using this rule to go into the sub folders that have files and I want that rule to also process the folder itself too. Right now it just stops at this rule and doesn't allow it to continue processing the rule.

That's not how it worked. There are ways to trick the UI into allowing you to add the Continue action but that doesn't mean it works.
