Can some help me in getting a file renamed with hazel.

This is the example file name
1205647_710.09.20 Arctic Breeze - St Augustine Full.indd

I need the first 8 characters removed
710.09.20 Arctic Breeze - St Augustine Full.indd

is that possible to do thru Hazel?

Yes, look up match patterns in the manual. You can create a custom attribute for the remaining part of the filename and use that in a Rename action.
