Find sync file Fri Jul 03, 2020 2:45 am • by Noodleaddled
Hi...Recently had to recreate my Mac from scratch. I've reinstalled and connected to licence, but I cannot determine how to find my rules. I have an external disk with everything copied from the previous disk.

The help does not seem to state what the name of the sync file would be. Can I search for it?

I cannot find anything Hazel related on Dropbox etc so I presume the sync file with the rules will be on my external drive. I think I would have used the default location for saving it if there is one.

So, is there a normal file name and if so what is it?

And, is there a default location where it could be filed?

Thanks

Did you actually set up your rules to sync? If so, only you would know where those files are.

If you didn't use rule sync, then check this guide on the locations of the files: https://www.noodlesoft.com/kb/restoring ... m-backups/
