Hi Everyone,

New to using Hazel and just have a question around renaming folders.

Currently moving a macOS file server over to Box and have to change all the files and folders to remove unsupported characters ( \ / | and spaces at the start and end of file/folder names). I have successfully created a rule that finds and renames all the files with the incorrect characters and spaces but I can't get it to do folder names.

My current rules are
- Go into subfolders
- Incorrect names rule (https://www.icloud.com/iclouddrive/0i2o ... 2.12.12_pm)

Anyone know how to make a rule that can check folder names in all levels and remove the unsupported characters!

The subfolder rule probably already matches folders so it won't ever get to the second one. You'll need to add a Continue action to the first rule.
