Does anyone know how to do name a folder based on the number of items inside it?

Use the Rename action, drag in "Other" and select "Number of Items". I believe that should work.

It works some of the time but not always. First, Spotlight has to have indexed a folder before this will work. Second, even when Spotlight has indexed the folder, for some reason, the values can be negative. The "Sub-file/folder count" in Hazel however seems to get it right every time. Please consider adding "Sub-file/folder count" as an option under the "Other" in Rename actions. Thank you!

I'll consider it. Thanks.
