[solved] use pattern from one rule in another
Posted: Sun Apr 26, 2020 7:28 pmI use Abbyy FineReader to OCR a letter as PDF and the order of the content is automatically divided into different areas which are put in a certain order. If Hazel scans the content for the first date pattern this might not match with the first date we as humans see in the actual letter. So Hazel might not pick the date I want.
If I OCR the same letter as text file (txt) the first date matches with the one I recognise as the first date in the actual letter. Here Hazel picks the the first and therefore most likely the right one.
Can I somehow use the date hazel finds in the text file to rename the PDF file?
