Hazel can't find a word in an OCR'd PDF Mon Apr 06, 2020 8:54 am • by Stef974
Hello

I have a rule to recognize a bank account document :
it must content the word Relevé wich does exist when I am looking for it in the Preview app on osX. But , Hazel still can't find it and then : rule don't match ! The same applies to another rule : with a date in the same rule.
Please note that some of these documents are well read by Hazel, strange no ?

How can it be ?
How to fix it ?

Faithfully, Stef

PS : Im using VUESCAN to PDF and OCR my documents.

Did you try Hazel's preview? If not, then I suggest doing so. There, you can view the contents of the file as Hazel sees it.

I didn't know aout that option ; I take look.
I Found that VUESCAN OCR is pretty raw , and when I process OCR in FineReader, problem disappear.
