I am trying to move movie files from a folder and subfolder structure and then placing them in a different folder.

Can anybody advise how I would create that. I tried lots of times but it always moves the whole folder as well.

Thanks

Can you provide a concrete example of what you are trying to do?

so basically when I download torrent files sometimes they come straight as movie and sometimes they come in folders with some other random files included. I want hazel to move the movie files from the complete folder and it's subfolders and move them to another folder that I use to get them into the app Infuse.

Is that possible?

Thank you

You want to take the movie file out of the folder it's in and ignore the accompanying files? In that case, you'll need to have Hazel go into subfolders. Check the manual as there's a whole chapter on how to do that. You would then create a separate rule to move the movie file itself.
