Bug in latest update?

I have rules that delete empty folders by checking the subfiles count to be 0. I noticed the most recent version also has a "is empty" option. Either way, I get the following error making the rule fail every time:
Could not get subfiles for folder: /Users/awaldraff/Documents/Inbox/advanced analytics lab/api
Is this a bug, or should I be doping something different in my folders?
I run Catalina 10.15.2 and Hazel 4.4.4

I have noticed the same problem for several weeks, but never got around to documenting it.
My workaround is to change the rule from "is equal to 0" to "is less than 1".

Can you check the logs? There should be some additional info about the exact error Hazel is getting.

Can you look for the "Could not get subfiles for folder" error and send me an excerpt with some surrounding log messages?

Does not come up in the log... I see in the preview pane

Can I dropbox share the log file privately with you?

Yes, you can do so via email. Also, look for the following text: "Error get subitem count for path" (yes, with the grammatical error and all).
