Hi guys,

I hope you can help me. Is there a way to hide the file extension without using any scripts? Tried with the "rename" function but can't figure it out, the extension will be removed when I use only the "name" pattern.

I suggest looking around for an Automator action that does that.

Note that "rename" won't do it. Hiding the extension has nothing to do with the actual name. It's a separate flag indicating whether to show the extension or not.
