Ask for folder to move to

Hey guys,

I am looking to implement the following workflow:

When I create a new Google Doc, it is created in the root folder of GDrive. Since I am syncing my GDrive to my Mac local disk, Hazel can recognize that there is a new GDoc that was created. Now: I want Hazel to ask me where it should move this file to, so I can choose the folder in Finder, and Hazel moves the file to the folder I selected.

That way, I do not have to care about moving the file using the Google Docs interface, which is a pain.

Question: How can I set Hazel to ask me for the folder to move a file to?

Thanks in advance!

You'll need to write an AppleScript to do that. Search the forums as I believe someone has done a similar script in the past.

HI RiseUp
did you ever work this out? I'm having an annoying prob with email attachments in one drive always downloading to an attachment folder, and not asking me where to put it, so curious how you got on. thanks,  Lindsey

Hey Riseup, I am also facing same problem as teataotu, Email attachments on one drive are always downloading to an attached folder. It's annoying. I don't know where to place it.
Maru, thanks! :)
