Edit rule GUI broken in 4.4 on High Sierra

Hi,

I have installed 4.4 when it was released, and everything seemed to work well, until earlier today when I tried to edit a rule I have, based on “Name matches“.

What happens is shown in this screenshot:

The two bubbles highlighted with the red arrows appeared as I tried to edit the name field, and the rename with pattern field. It was impossible to rename the fields.

At the same time, if I would change from “name matches“ to “name is“, I could edit the strings without any issue, and no bubble would appears. Weird.

Anything to do with the GUI fixes implemented for Catalina, bleeding back into High Sierra by mistake?

Let me know if any more debugging is needed, Paul.

Thanks,

Luca

Are you on 10.12 or 10.13? If so, then this is a known issue and should be fixed in the next patch. I suggest going back to 4.3.5 until then. You can find it here: http://www.noodlesoft.com/old-versions/

I am on 10.13, High Sierra.

Just rolled back to 4.3.5 and I can edit things the normal way.

Hopefully new builds will fix this annoying issue. Will keep my eyes peeled on the release notes to see if this has been addressed or not moving forward.

Thanks,

Luca

This should be fixed in 4.4.1 released this morning.
