I can no longer able to edit one of my rules. I can edit all the others. What should I do?

Can you check the logs? Launch Console and filter on "System Preferences". Try editing the rule and post/email the log messages that appear after that.

BTW, this all assumes you are running pre-Catalina. If you running Catalina, please email in to support.

Here’s what I get immediately afterwards:

error 09:36:48.393344 -0500 System Preferences <private>
error 09:36:48.393368 -0500 System Preferences <private>

Oh geez, forgot about Apple doing that. Apparently it's a privacy issue to view your own logs. Are you comfortable using the commandline? If so, enter the following:

sudo log config --mode "private_data:on"

It will prompt you for your account password. Also, I believe you have to be using an admin account for it to work.

After that, try editing the rule again and hopefully the actual logs will appear. Email those in to support.
