Hi, I'm able to instruct hazel to get the invoice number inside a file.pdf :) unfortunately hazel, who's searching for numbers, get, sometimes, even the near/sequent date of the invoice. cause the date of the invoice has ever the same pattern (01-01-19) is there a way to stop hazel just before it reach the date of the invoice?

ciao from italy

You can add the date to the pattern to account for it. Unless you have two dates in which case you'll have to do something else.

Use the preview feature so you can view the contents of the file as Hazel sees it.

As for my tip, just as you use the TD01 preceding the text you want, you can also use the date afterwards in the pattern to bracket it in the pattern.

Search the support page for date matching. There are links to various articles and videos there.
