"last opened" dates wrong under Lion?

Hello,
I am a new Hazel user and I wanted to create a crule, which marks all apps that haven't been used for 2 months red. The result, however, was not what I expected, due to the fact, that the "last opened" dates are completely wrong and don't get updated when starting an app.
So Hazel is not to blame at all - however, as Hazel is working a lot with those dates I thought that maybe someone else here may have experienced similar behaviour or even fixed it.
Cheers!

Lion does some thing now where if Last opened is blank, it uses something like the Last modified date. I'm not sure if this is your problem but it's something to look out for.

Thanks for the advice!
I'm now having a different problem with those dates: I want Hazel to move every file in the Download folder I already opened to another folder. Therefore I created a rule which goes like this: "Date added" is before "Date last opened" => move to folder. However when previewing my rule I see, that no files match this rule (although there _are_ files that match, I can see and check that in Finder). When changing my rule to "Date created" instead of "Date added" everything works as expected. Interestingly, though, as those files are downloaded from the web "Date created" and "Date added" are the same.
Why isn't that working?

Lion added a Date added but it's not the one Hazel uses as Hazel records its own as Hazel existed long before Lion. As a result, files added to a folder before Hazel started monitoring it won't be correct. I'm not sure if this is the cause of your problem but it's something to consider.
If you are willing to run the beta (check the beta forum), 3.0 has a feature where you can see all the attributes on a file, including the mysterious Date Added that Hazel records. That might help in debugging the issue.

I'll try that!
And yes ... the files were added to the folder BEFORE I created the Hazel rule so this is probably the reason for the unexpected behaviour. Thanks for the fast help!

It seems that the date added is accessible in Lion so I'll probably supplement Hazel's date added with that so that they are more accurate. If a file was added before either Hazel or Lion, though, there's not much I can do about it.

Mounting DMGs obviously doesn't count as "opened" - anything you can do about that?

Sorry. That's a function of the OS and not Hazel.
