Does nothing match "anything"?

From the file's meta data I have derived a token called [GameID] and the match is [GameID][…], where "anything" is usually a bunch of text that contains the game's title.
If the folder exists then the fact is made, and all is well.
The folder exists but is only the GameID without any more characters there is no match. Is this the correct behaviour?
