I am using a great pdf annotating app on my iPad. Unfortunately, it takes a copy of the pdf and keeps it in its own folder.

I will very much like to move the pdf file back after editing.

I have all my pdfs in /iCloud/document/[subfolder]/[subfolder]/...

So far I have managed to get the source path into the file comment field and find a way to start moving a pdf after some idle time.

But I can't figure out how to move the file back to the source folder. I have tried to use "Move" to /iCloud/document/ and "Sort into subfolder" with "comment" as the attribute (changing / to ▸). But I get "ERROR: Sorting into subfolder failed: Could not move /Users/xxx/Documents/hazel_test.pdf. Source and destination are the same."

What am I missing? thx.

Is the comment intact on the other end? You might want to also add a delay before processing the rule as the comment may be slow in being carried over.
