Yet another Apple Mail question... Sun Jul 14, 2019 3:13 pm • by TheOneTrueRobb
First off, wanna thank Mr. Noodles for some help he gave me a few weeks ago, on the "Run Rules On Folder Contents" rule.

I've read Paul1762's recent post about Apple Mail. Lotsa good info in that thread, and I'm not looking to do anything fancy. But...I just wanna delete Junk Mail messages older than xxxxx. That's all. Apple Mail doesn't do this, so I'm wondering if Hazel can do it. I've looked around, in both libraries, for a folder marked "Junk Mail" or some such, to no avail, so I'm thinking this ain't happening. But I figured I'd ask....

You can do this in Apple Mail. In preferences, go to Accounts. Under the Mailbox behaviors tab, you can find an option to delete junk mail after a certain amount of time.
