Add Comment causes error and and sends rule into a loop

I just got a new mac mini (late 2014), updated to Mojave, loaded hazel and the rules that I want to use, however, "Add Comment" now causes an error and sends hazel into a loop.

This is the error I get:

2019-04-16 16:25:28.931 hazelworker[714] Received error set comment for path /Users/Username/Downloads/Active Folder/Filename.pdf: Error Domain=NSOSStatusErrorDomain Code=-1743 "(null)" UserInfo={ErrorNumber=-1743}

I have no idea what to do about this. Hazel and the rule worked fine on my old Mac Mini (Late 2012) running High Sierra.

Did you email in about this? If so, in the future, please only post OR email, not both.

I've already responded there but to reiterate, this is due to Mojave's privacy protections. You need to give Hazel permission to access Finder, which you can do under the "Automation" section in your privacy settings.

Yes, I did. Sorry. Wasn't trying to duplicate work I just started second guessing myself on whether or not I correctly submitted a Forum post. Turns out I did. :D
