In operations like syncing, copying and uploading, how does duplicate detection work? Just by filename? Or attributes? Or some kind of hash?

Thanks!

Note that "duplicate" in Hazel means identical file in terms of content, though with possibly a different name. "Existing file" refers to a file at the destination that has the same name.

When copying, there are options to deal with those cases separately. For uploads, it only deals with existing files. For sync, it doesn't really matter in that the destination will be a mirror of the source.
