UPDATE: I disabled banner notifications for Mail and now I'm getting my Hazel notifications. Enabling banners for Mail again seems to have no impact (cannot reproduce issue). Weird.


Hello!

I had to replace my hard drive and I did a clean install of all my apps including Hazel. Since then, I have received no banner notifications when Hazel processes a file. My Notification Center Settings are: Banners, Show notifications on lock screen, Badge app icon. In Hazel, my notifications are set to: Errors and File Events.

Hazel version: 4.3.4 (build 1564)
Mac OS version: 10.13.6 (mac too old to run mojave)

The file actions still process and do as they're intended, but I receive no notification of success. Any ideas appreciated!

Notification Center is a bit weird in that it decides what to show. If there are too many notifications coming at once, for instance, it may not show certain ones or do a notification that summarizes how many from a particular app.

So, it may work for now but if things get busy again or who knows what other reason, you may not see them.
