Problems with the latest version of Hazel - Not visible

Upgraded to the latest version here, and now it's not visible in System Preferences anymore, nor is it available from the menubar. I noticed that when I install it there is no icon on the file. Also, if I try to install again it tells me it's already installed and asks me if I want to replace it in System Preferences.

Help?

It is not just you - I have the same problem

Hazel is not working and not in the Sys prefs - but when I do an install it tells me it is there already and doesn't fix it.

It is probably a corrupt installation. Try this manual process:

  • Quit System Preferences.
  • Go to your Library/PreferencePanes folder and throw away Hazel.prefPane
  • Download the latest version from the site.
  • Move the new Hazel.prefPane to Library/PreferencePanes
  • Launch System Preferences and load up Hazel.

Hopefully that will clear it up.

Also, for urgent queries, it's better to email support.
