Hello,

I currently have a Rule which cleans my desktop everyday, with the purpose of moving all items which aren't current (same day). These files are moved to a folder in my Documents tree

What I will like to accomplish is to have the documents organized within daily folder. So, when Hazel runs its Rule, I will like for it to create a folder in the destination of choice, with the date of the day before as its Name, then move all of the items from the Desktop to said location.

Is this possible? Will I need AppleScript to accomplish this?

Thanks

The Sort into subfolder action should be able to do this for you. Just drag in whatever date attribute is appropriate into the pattern. You can search the help for "editing patterns" if you need instruction on how to set up the pattern.
