Weird problem moving files to external drive

I have Hazel set to move pictures from my downloads folder to a subfolder on an external drive called LaCie. The folder is Pictures\papers. Hazel fails to move the files to the subfolder, instead moving them to the the parent folder Pictures. I have looked at the logs, and it seems Hazel is trying to move the files to a folder called Pictures\papers\papers, which does not exist.
