Can't search PDF document / statement
Posted: Thu Oct 25, 2018 5:53 amHazel is unable to search PDF statements from my bank. The bank recently changed the layout and design of the PDF statements and hazel can no longer search the document at all. PDFs and statements from other banks/credit cards seem to be fine it's just this one bank.
• The PDF is not a scan and so hasn't been OCR'd.
• It is not possible to search the document when opened in Preview.app, however it is possible to select text.
• Adobe Acrobat X (ver. 10) can perform a search on the document and find text, though I've no idea how this could be integrated with Hazel, if at all.
If anyone has experienced this sort of problem and can give any advice it would be very welcome.
